In 2015, the Center for Economic Progress (CEP) served 21,200 low-income families throughout the state representing more than $30 million in hard-earned refunds. That remarkable impact illustrates our continued commitment to our vision of an America of shared prosperity, where all working families can access the financial opportunities they need to succeed.
CEP achieved numerous successes in our 25th year, including increases in tax returns prepared, number of clients served through Money Action Day Events, amount saved by clients through our TaxTime Savings Campaign, and a record-breaking Counting on Progress annual fundraising event. Seeing our mission become a reality is no easy task, and we are grateful to our volunteers, investors and partners, whose generosity of resources and time allow us to deepen our roots and live out our important mission.
