Interested in becoming a volunteer with the Center? It's easy to join us!

1. Review the position description(s) of interest and the Center’s ethics guidelines. If you are applying for a tax site position, find the nearest location closest to you.

2. Complete a self-assessment.

• How do you know if you are ready to volunteer? Our self-assessment will help you decide if the Center for Economic Progress is a good fit for you.

3. Click here to apply online now.

• Or you can download and print a volunteer application:
         - For Chicago and Northern Illinois volunteers, click here. 
         - For Downstate and Central Illinois volunteers, click here.

4. Wait for your confirmation.

• Once we receive your completed application, we will send you a confirmation and your application will be submitted to the appropriate volunteer project supervisor. Please note that if you apply online, you will receive an automatic confirmation via e-mail.
• Certain email servers may block our automatic confirmation emails. If you use Hotmail, Yahoo, or have an email ending in .edu or .gov, please be advised that you may not receive your confirmation.
