Spotlighted in the Chicago Tribune

The Center's workplace program "Chicago Supports Workers" was featured on the front-page Business of the Chicago Tribune on Saturday, August 2, 2008. Through this new initiative, the Center offers free financial services to entry-level employees at several area companies.

Supported by the Families and Work Institute and the Field Foundation of Illinois, the Center's program is part of an experiment under way in 11 cities to see whether providing such services at work helps entry-level workers stabilize their financial lives while reducing turnover and absenteeism.
