Our Agenda

The Center for Economic Progress has set its policy agenda for 2008-09: Creating a New Deal for Low-Income Workers.

The Center's New Deal is a broad, comprehensive and bold agenda that includes policy priorities which the Center will actively work to support through its National Community Tax Coalition.

The priorities span the spectrum of economic challenges facing low-income workers and their families, from tax fairness to asset-building opportunities. This agenda is, in many ways, a blueprint for a fair playing field where all workers are ensured a chance at the American dream.
