How Do We Create Change?

The Center for Economic Progress is a nationally respected leader in promoting tax fairness.

We advocate across local, state and federal governments for low-income families. We work with individuals, communities and policymakers to change tax policies that positively impact the lives of low-wage workers and their families. 

In this role, we:

• Analyze the effects of federal taxes on low-income families.
• Educate policymakers on tax and financial issues facing low-wage workers and their families.
• Build support for legislation that expands economic opportunities for America’s working families.
