Using Donations Wisely

The Center for Economic Progress is a conscientious steward of the donations and grants it receives from its supporters.

Charity Navigator, an industry-leading charity-ranking service, has awarded the Center a three or four-star rating ("good" and "excellent") for organizational efficiency and organizational capacity for the last three annual reporting periods.

Our fundraising efficiency is far above both the Chicago and national average for nonprofit organizations. It currently costs us a mere six cents to raise one dollar. In addition, our primary revenue continues to grow, and our program expenses continue to decline.
