CHICAGO -- The Center for Economic Progress (CEP) is excited to welcome new expertise to its Board of Directors. Recently elected members Eddie Gershman of Deloitte Tax and Jodie Winnett of Winnett Civic Ingenuity bring comprehensive knowledge of tax and financial planning to CEP, a national leader among low-income tax payer assistance programs.

Gershman’s private sector background and Winnett’s public sector experience are complementary additions to CEP’s diverse board. With their skills, the Board of Directors is poised to help advise CEP as it continues to pursue innovative ways to help low-income families gain solid financial footing in the Chicagoland and Springfield areas.

He is a trusted source on tax issues, providing media interviews at the local and national levels.
