Opportunity for economic mobility is out of reach for too many families. For 25+ years, CEP delivers high-quality, no-cost tax and financial services with dignity. Starting in 2017, we can travel to your location with Progress on the Go, our mobile financial center.

Progress on the Go is powered by dedicated volunteer pros. We work with on-the-ground partners to respond to community needs -- all on wheels. View the photo gallery.

Have a volunteer fair or community event?

Take a tour of CEP's mobile financial center. We are able to participate in your event, giving participants the opportunity to find out more about our mission and our work. Volunteers will be on hand to discuss our programs, and opportunities to get involved. Participants will walk away with toolkits and goody bags.

Free Tax Help

Where can I get high-quality tax preparation at no cost?

Tired of driving across town to find a free tax site? Paying too much in fees? CEP will come to your location when it is convenient for you. We have flexible appointments available. CEP will handle all your tax needs at no cost: federal and state income tax, paper and electronic filing, and much more.

Credit Building 101

How do I increase my credit score?

CEP will pull your credit report for free and will provide a full, personalized credit review. We will help you understand how your credit score is calculated, what your credit report says about you, and what you can do to ensure that your credit report is accurate and reflects positively on you. We will also help you dispute credit report errors with just a few clicks.

Money Management 101

Do you have a spending plan that works for you?

Learn how to create a tailored spending plan, set financial goals, manage banking accounts with financial institutions, how to organize your financial records and tips to save money. You will receive our spending plan toolkit to stay on track and make the most of your financial life.

Includes 30-minute group session and 30-minute one-on-one with volunteer financial coach

Cha-ching: Tax and Money Tips for Your First Job

With new responsibilities come new opportunities.

Your first job offers important lessons in practical money management and provides a chance to instill good money habits. You will learn how to manage an income, pay federal income taxes, understand payroll taxes, and save for the future. You will receive our first job financial toolkit to make sure your money is working the hardest for you.

Includes 45-minute group session led by volunteer financial pro; Suitable for Teens or Young Adults
